Ucanlinkit LLC operates LinKit and linkitgiftbox.com, where you can design custom and curated gift boxes and send us a gift box inquiry. Ucanlinkit LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests: info@ucanlinkit.com.

When you send a gift box inquiry, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, shipping details, any note, and your box choices (box, items, quantity and shipping option). You may also upload a company logo or note artwork. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to send.

Your inquiry is sent to LinKit by email. The website itself does not keep a copy of your inquiry details in a database.

Uploaded files are checked to make sure they are a supported format, then stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible. They are saved as downloads only and are never displayed as web pages.

LinKit receives a private download link by email. That link stops working after 7 days; link expiry does not delete the file. Customer-uploaded logos and artwork are automatically deleted from the website's private storage during daily cleanup once 12 calendar months have passed since their original upload date. This applies even if an order is still ongoing. It does not delete copies held separately in email, WhatsApp or other order records, or unrelated website files.

Spam protection. When an inquiry is sent, we store a scrambled code (a "hash") made from your network (IP) address, together with the time of the submission, so we can limit repeated automated submissions. We do not store the IP address itself. Records older than 30 days are removed during a daily automatic cleanup.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand general website activity: pages viewed, the general names of gift boxes opened or selected for customization, whether a box is expanded to 9 items, visits to the review page, successful genuine inquiry submissions, and clicks on our email and WhatsApp links. A successful inquiry is recorded only as an interaction with the general gift-box name, not the contents of an individual customer's inquiry. Google also collects device and browser type, approximate location and how you reached our site, using cookies. We do not send your name, company, email, address, phone number, notes, individual inquiry or order details, or uploaded files to Google Analytics, and we have turned off Google's advertising features for this site. On your device. Your browser remembers the box you are building (until you close the tab) and your privacy choice. This stays on your device.

To reply to inquiries, prepare quotes and fulfil orders; to communicate with you about your order; to protect the site from spam and abuse; and, where allowed, to understand and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use service providers that process information on our behalf: website hosting, database and private file storage, email delivery for inquiries, and Google Analytics. We may disclose information when required by law.

General customer inquiry emails. We aim to retain general customer inquiry emails for 3 months. Removal is managed separately by LinKit, not automatically by the website, so this is a retention target rather than a guaranteed deletion deadline. Deleted messages may remain subject to the email provider's backup and recovery arrangements.

Order records and conversations. Order-related records may be retained longer as needed for business, accounting, tax or legal purposes. Customer conversations and order information held separately through WhatsApp or email are not automatically deleted by the website after 3 months. We retain these records for as long as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations.

Website uploads and other records. Customer-uploaded logos and artwork in the website's private storage are automatically removed during daily cleanup after 12 calendar months from their original upload date. Spam-protection records older than 30 days are removed during daily automatic cleanup and when a new inquiry is submitted. Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked before Google Analytics is used, and it stays off unless they accept. If we cannot tell where you are visiting from, we ask first. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to keep analytics off. Depending on where you live and which laws apply to LinKit, you may have rights over your personal information, such as asking to access, correct or delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. We will honour requests as required by applicable law.

California and other U.S. states. Where California or another state privacy law applies, residents may have the right to know, access, correct and delete their personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it), and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or Swiss data protection law applies, you may also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority. We use inquiry details to take the steps you ask for before entering into an order, spam protection based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe, and analytics only with your consent. Our providers, including Google, may process information in the United States.

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires).
